Wednesday 27th March marked a truly remarkable event at CHS South, as the school community came together in a spirit of joy, love, and unity to celebrate the first Grand Iftar. The occasion, which commemorates the holy month of Ramadan, served as a poignant reminder of the importance of inclusivity and togetherness within our diverse school community.
The atmosphere was brimming with warmth and solidarity as over 300 families gathered to share in the festivities, generously contributing a delightful array of homemade dishes. From traditional delicacies to modern interpretations, each dish reflected the cultures and traditions within our school community.
However, it wasn't just the culinary delights that made the evening special. The event was punctuated by heartfelt speeches, prayers, and readings from our students, showcasing their talent, resilience, and the depth of their spiritual convictions.
